For Children Program A Federal And State Program for
patients on medical assistance, low income patients
and patients without health insurance as well as patient
that have insurance but the insurance they have does
not pay for vaccines. The household income to qualify
is quite high with over 70% of the families with children
in the state of Maryland qualifying for this program. I am
an avid breastfeeding advocate, we also provide free
samples of acne cream, foot cream,eczema cream
and moisturizing skin cream as indicated.

I am a member of the Medical staff of the following
hospitals : Children Hospital, Providence Hospital,
Prince Georges Hospital and Howard University
Hospital. I am Board Certified In Pediatrics .
I have been in private practice for 21 years, served
as the Chairman of the Department Of Pediatrics
at Providence Hospital from 1988 to 1996.
I practice general pediatrics, which means I diagnose and
treat most of the disease of children from birth
to age 21 with referrall to specialist when the
need arise. many of the common lab test are
performed in our office and the results are available
immediately. This prevent the patients from
having to travel to another location to have lab services
performed. As a mother of 3 children of my own I
realize the difficulty of travel from place to place with
sick children. I try to make medical care to my
patients as convenient as possible. The first hour of
each morning Monday through Friday is set aside for
emergency walk in patients. No appointment is
necessary. If your child becomes sick during the night
bring the child to the office in the morning between 8:30
and 9:30 am. Appointment are sen starting at
9:45 am . If available I try to give the first dose of
medication in the office to get treatment started right
away and the patient on the way to recovery. Routine
check-ups including school, camp and sports physical are
scheduled as needed, usually within a few days. The
same day if urgently needed .Hearing testing with
the new OAE hearing screener for children as young
as newborns is available. Office Hours are 8:30 AM
to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Most insurances are
accepted, Aetna, Carefirst Blue Cross, Blue Choice,
Amerigroup, Americhoice United Health care, Teamsters,
Priority Partners, Tricare, most government plans,
Maryland Medicaid, self pay, and many others
